Yogathon Benefit held on a very sunny Mercer Island day of  May 17, 2008

10am - 2pm

Benefit for Mercer Island Youth & Family Services

At the Mercer View Community Center, Mercer Room

Are you interested in sampling yoga styles in a casual, community setting?  Join us for the Mercer Island Yoga Community Yogathon Benefit! This four-hour event will include a variety of class styles taught by local instructors.  Fees will be donated to Mercer Island Youth and Family Services.    Local business will also be providing raffle items and auction items.  All levels of experience are welcome.  The 10am morning session will be for beginners or those new to yoga. The 12pm afternoon session will be for those with 1+ year yoga experience. Participate as much or as little as you like! Be sure you are there for the Body Hoop Dance Demonstration is at 12pm!

Please wear comfortable clothing and if possible bring a yoga mat or beach towel, water, and a light lunch.  You can join us for the entire event or at the 10am or 12pm session.  Minimum donation of $25 suggested. Saturday, May 19th 2007 First Annual All Levels YogaThon Benefit was held from 10am-2pm at Mercer View Community Center.  Live music was provided by local artist Serge Gubelman of Manna Presence.
